Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. chicken stock
    4 medium potatoes
    1 large onion
    2 carrots
    1/2 turnip (in two pieces)
    6 leeks
    2 Tbsp. heavy cream (optional)
Preparation
    Put stock in pan.
    Cube potatoes, one carrot and 1/2 turnip. Cut up leeks and onion into small pieces and put all into pan. Bring to a boil. Grate the other carrot and 1/2 turnip.
    Add to the soup.
    Just before serving, add cream.
    Season to taste.
