Mother'S Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe

1 (No. 2 1/2) can pumpkin
2 c. sugar*
4 eggs
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. nutmeg
3 tsp. cinnamon
2 unbaked 9-inch pie shells
Preparation

Beat eggs and then add milk to them and stir this combination into the pumpkin.
Combine spices with a convenient amount of the sugar and add the salt also, and mix the rest of the sugar and all the ingredients together in a large bowl.
Pour into unbaked pie shells.
Bake 10 minutes at 450\u00b0 and 30 minutes at 325\u00b0.
