Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1/4 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
3/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation
-
Mix flour, soda and sugar together.
Cut in shortening as for pastry.
Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Add yeast mixture and buttermilk and mix until dry ingredients are moistened.
Place in covered container and chill well.
Use as needed.
