Chop Suey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 onion
    1 to 2 stalks celery
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    2 c. water
    2 cans chow mein dinner
    1 can beef broth
    1 large can Chinese vegetables
    1 can mushrooms
    1 to 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    cornstarch
Preparation
    Brown ground beef, onion, celery and green pepper.
    Add water and let simmer 1 hour.
    Add chow mein, beef broth, Chinese vegetables and mushrooms; simmer 2 hours approximately.
    Season with soy sauce and thicken with cornstarch.
    Serve with rice.
