Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    salt and pepper to taste
    3/4 c. milk
    3/4 c. 3 minute oats or cracker crumbs
    1 egg, beaten
    2 cans tomato sauce
Preparation
    Combine the hamburger meat and oats or cracker crumbs.
    Add just enough milk to soak them.
    Add egg and mix.
    Add salt, pepper and garlic salt to taste.
    Form into walnut size balls; brown in bacon grease until brown on both sides.
    Pour off some of the grease.
    Add the tomato sauce and enough water to cover.
    Place cover on skillet; cook on low heat for about 45 minutes.
