Amber Pettit'S Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour, sifted
    1 c. white sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. brandy flavoring
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 eggs, separated
    1 c. hazelnuts (whole)
    2 c. walnuts
    1 lb. whole dates (without seeds)
    1 pkg. candied cherries
Preparation
    Put nuts and fruit in a bowl.
    Add dry ingredients and mix together.
    Add beaten egg yolks, brandy and vanilla flavoring. Beat egg whites and fold into nut, dry ingredients and egg mixture. Bake for 1 hour in 300\u00b0 oven.
    Makes 2 loaf pans.
