Spanish Omelet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs, beaten
    1 lb. potatoes
    1/2 lb. onions
    light oil
    salt
    pimento, chorizo, olives, etc. may be added
Preparation
    Cut the potatoes into 1/2-inch squares, adding salt to them as you go along.
    Fry the potatoes with a low flame, stirring them once in a while.
    When they are soft, add the finely chopped onions to the potatoes.
    The potatoes and onions should be very soft and not too golden.
