Apple Cake #1 - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. margarine
1 tsp. salt
1 egg yolk and enough milk to make 2/3 c. milk
1 egg white
cinnamon
corn flakes, 4 handfuls, crushed
3/4 c. sugar
6 to 8 apples, sliced as for pie
Preparation

Mix as for pie dough (use fork).
Use a little more than 1/2 of the dough for bottom of jelly roll pan.
Use crushed corn flakes next, sliced apples, 3/4 cup sugar and sprinkle on some cinnamon.
Roll out top layer and put on top.
Prick with fork. Beat egg white and brush on top.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for one hour.
When done, drizzle with a light frosting.
