Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 green peppers
    1 lb. hamburger
    2 c. cooked rice
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cut peppers in halves lengthwise.
    Remove seeds and wash. Combine hamburger, rice, onions, salt, pepper and 1/2 can tomato sauce.
    Pile lightly into pepper halves and place in large baking dish.
    Pour tomato sauce on top of each pepper.
    Cover tightly and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours or until peppers are tender, basting occasionally.
