Double Quick Dinner Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. warm water
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water.
    Stir in sugar, 1/2 of the flour and salt.
    Beat with a spoon until smooth.
    Add egg and shortening. Beat in the rest of the flour until smooth.
    Cover with a cloth and let rise for 30 minutes.
    Grease 12 muffin cups.
    Stir dough. Put into muffin cups.
    Cover and let rise an additional 20 to 30 minutes.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
