Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 (12 oz.) carton Cool Whip
    1 large instant vanilla pudding mix
    1 large can pie filling (strawberry or cherry)
Preparation
    Bake cake as directed on package.
    Break cake in small pieces and put half in a punch bowl.
    Pour pineapple over cake.
    Fix pudding mix as directed on box and put half of it in the punch bowl and top with half of the Cool Whip.
    Put remaining cake in the bowl; cover with pie filling, then pudding mix and cover with remaining Cool Whip.
    Refrigerate.
