Hashed Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 to 32 oz. frozen hash brown potatoes
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
    bread crumbs
Preparation
    Layer all ingredients in 9 x 13-inch pan in order listed. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes or until browned.
