Reunion Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients

8 c. cored and quartered cooking apples
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 Tbsp. margarine
1/4 c. water

Preparation

Place apples in large cake pan or small roaster. Sprinkle sugar mixed with spices over apples. Dot margarine over top. Pour water over all. Bake, covered, in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 40 minutes until apples are tender.
