Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
8 to 10 slices pineapple
8 to 10 maraschino cherries
1 pkg. white cake mix
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
In a deep 9 x 13-inch oblong cake pan or two 9-inch round cake pans; melt butter.
Add brown sugar and stir over low heat, until dissolved.
Arrange pineapples and cherries into bottom of pans.
Prepare cake mix according to box directions.
Fill prepared pan 3/4 full and bake 30 to 40 minutes. Any remaining cake mix can be used for cup cakes.
When cake is done and still hot, run a knife around cake edge and invert on a serving plate.
