Peanut Butter Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    28 oz. jar peanut butter
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt sugar in large pot, adding 1/2 cup canned milk or just enough to melt sugar, then add vanilla.
    Let come to boil.
    Add peanut butter, beating until creamy and smooth.
    Spread over layers.
