Cherry Delights - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. softened margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    2 egg yolks
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 egg whites, slightly beaten
    2 c. finely chopped pecans
    18 candied cherries, halved
Preparation
    Cream
    margarine
    and
    sugar until light and fluffy; add syrup, egg
    yolks
    and flour.
    Stir until blended well;
    chill. Roll into
    1
    inch balls.
    Coat each with egg white and roll in pecans.
    Place
    on
    a
    greased baking sheet.
    Press cherry half into center of each ball.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 18 to 20 minutes.
