Strawberry Jell-O Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 baked pie shell
    1 pkg. Strawberry Jell-O
    2 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
    1 quart strawberries-whole, washed and hulled
    1 cup sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Place the strawberries in the bottom of the pie shell.
    Combine in a saucepan 1 cup sugar, 3 tablespoons cornstarch and pinch of salt. Add 1 cup boiling water and boil 1-3 minutes until mixture thickens.
    Add 3 tablespoons strawberry jell-o (right from box) and 2 tablespoons white Karo syrup.
