Brown Sugar Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. box brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. margarine
    1/2 c. Crisco
    5 large eggs
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt and set aside.
    Cream the butter and shortening until very light.
    Add brown sugar gradually, creaming all until fluffy.
    Add white sugar.
    Beat in eggs one at a time.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with the milk.
    Stir in vanilla and nuts.
    Pour in a well-greased and floured tube pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until cake is done.
