American Chop Suey - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. chopped meat
1 large green pepper, diced small
1 medium sized onion, diced small
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
1 small can mushroom stems and pieces
1 Tbsp. garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
1 small can tomato sauce
1 (8 oz.) elbow macaroni
Preparation

Saute peppers, onions and mushrooms in cooking oil in large frying pan until soft and tender.
Brown chopped meat and drain fat.
Add vegetables to meat mixture.
Add tomato sauce and remaining ingredients.
Bring to boil, then simmer 20 to 25 minutes.
Cook macaroni according to package directions and add to meat mixture.
