Grandmother'S Carolina Meat Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    leftover meats (pork, beef or ham)
    1 large onion
    1 qt. water
    1/2 c. ketchup
    salt and pepper
    2 or 3 raw, finely diced carrots
    2 finely diced white potatoes
    bit of cornstarch
Preparation
    Cube
    meat and\tbrown
    along
    with
    onion.
    Add
    water, ketchup, salt and pepper.
    Add carrots. Cook about 30 minutes. Add potatoes
    and a bit of cornstarch; cook until all vegetables
    are tender and a thick consistency has been established. Cut a thin crust for top and bake until crust is done.
