Brown Sugar Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 lb. brown sugar, light
    5 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. walnuts, chopped
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Beat butter and shortening together.
    Add sugar and mix until fluffy.
    Beat in eggs, add dry ingredients with milk and vanilla. Stir in nuts.
    Pour into 10 inch tube pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours.
    Cool 10 minutes.
    Remove from pan.
