Poppy Seed Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. poppy seed
    3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1/3 c. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease bottom only of 9-inch loaf pan. Mix all ingredients; beat by hand for 30 seconds.
    Pour into pan. Bake 55 to 65 minutes.
    Toothpick test for doneness.
    Cool slightly before removing from pan.
    Keeps one week in refrigerator when wrapped or covered.
    Recipe can also be used to make 2 smaller loaves by using 8 1/2-inch loaf pans.
    Bake these 50 to 60 minutes. Aluminum \"shiny\" pans work best as the darker \"Ekco\" pans make the loaf too dark.
