Holiday Wassail - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. hot tea
1 c. sugar
1 (32 oz.) bottle cranberry juice
1 (32 oz.) bottle apple juice
2 c. orange juice
3/4 c. lemon juice
2 cinnamon sticks
24 whole cloves, divided
1 orange, sliced
Preparation

In a large kettle, combine the tea and sugar.
Add juices, cinnamon sticks and 12 cloves.
Bring to a boil and boil for 2 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Serve warm or cool.
Garnish punch bowl with orange slices, studded with remaining cloves.
Yields 12 to 16 servings (1 gallon).
