Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1/2 c. butter or other shortening
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Grease cookie sheets.
    Break and beat the egg.
    Measure and put shortening in another bowl.
    Pack sugar; add to the shortening.
    Add egg, vanilla and water; beat until smooth.
    Measure flour, soda and salt; sift into another bowl. Add flour mixture to egg mixture slowly; mix.
    Stir in chips. Bake for approximately 12 minutes.
