Thumbprint Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick oleo
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 egg yolk, beaten
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. flour, sifted
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. ground nuts
    1 egg white, beaten slightly with fork
Preparation
    Mix together first 6 ingredients and put in refrigerator overnight.
    Remove and roll into little balls; dip into egg white, then into ground nuts.
    Put on greased cookie sheet.
    Press thumb in cookie dough and bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
