Gingersnap Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    4 c. flour
    1/2 c. molasses
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. cloves
    2 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar together. Beat in eggs, molasses and dry ingredients.
    Roll into 1-inch balls.
    Dip in sugar. Place on baking sheet 2 inches apart.
    Bake in moderate oven (375\u00b0) for 15 to 18 minutes.
    Makes 5 dozen.
