Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cut-up hen
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. plain flour
    1 c. self-rising flour
    dash of salt
    1/2 c. cream
    2 beaten eggs
    milk or water
    extra flour
Preparation
    Mix the salt and flours.
    Add eggs and milk to make dough like biscuit dough.
    Roll dough out to cut in pieces for dumplings, about 1/2 inch square.
    Put a few at a time in pot with cooked chicken.
    Do this until all dough is used; stir lightly.
    Spoon cream on top of dumplings; stir lightly.
