Low-Fat Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 large egg whites, beaten stiff
    2/3 c. applesauce
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. skimmed evaporated milk
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine applesauce and sugar; beat until blended.
    Mix dry ingredients together.
    Mix milk, water and vanilla.
    Alternately add flour mix and milk mix to applesauce and sugar mix.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Pour into lightly greased and floured pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
