Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 apples, chunked
    6 oranges, chunked
    6 tangaloes, chunked
    1 1/2 lb. white seedless grapes
    1 1/2 lb. blue seedless grapes or remove seeds
    2 c. chopped pecans
    4 c. sugar
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Make a simple syrup from sugar and water by heating until it dissolves.
    Let cool, then pour over mixture of fruit and nuts. Chill.
