Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. yellow squash
    1 small chopped onion
    1/2 stick butter or oleo
    2 c. grated sharp cheese
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. milk (or more)
    16 saltine crackers
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion until tender.
    Drain and mash.
    Add butter and cheese.
    Add eggs, milk and crackers.
    Mix well. Season to taste. Put in 2-quart casserole. Top with buttered cracker crumbs. Bake at 350\u00b0 about 30 minutes.
