Chicken Parmesan - cooking recipe

4 chicken breast halves, boneless and skinless
3/4 c. bread crumbs
6 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
2 eggs, lightly beaten
vegetable oil
8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
1 (16 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
garlic salt
Preparation

Pound chicken to 1/4-inch thickness.
Mix bread crumbs and 4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese.
Dip chicken in egg, then bread crumb mixture.
In a large skillet, heat oil (about 3 to 4 tablespoons) and brown the chicken on both sides.
Remove from skillet and place in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Place a slice of Mozzarella cheese on each piece, then pour spaghetti sauce over.
Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese and garlic salt.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until hot and bubbly, about 15 minutes.
Broil for a few minutes to brown.
Serves 4.
