Chocolate Chip Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. boiling water
    1 c. quick cooking rolled oats
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    chocolate chips
Preparation
    Combine water and rolled oats; cool.
    Cream butter, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla; beat in eggs.
    Blend in oatmeal mixture. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Add to creamed mixture.
    Beat one minute at medium speed.
    Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle your chosen amount of chocolate chips on top; do not stir.
    Bake for 35 minutes at 350\u00b0. Let sit until cool; sprinkle on powdered sugar.
