Mrs. Vice'S Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large Delicious apples
    1 large (18 to 20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. cherries
    1 c. whipping cream
    1/3 c. plain flour
    1/2 stick butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix flour and sugar well.
    Stir in whipping cream (not whipped).
    Add pineapple juice and all.
    Cook in thick boiler until thick (sticks easy).
    Remove from heat and add butter and let cool some. Peel and dice apples.
    Add apples and nuts to cooked mixture and mix.
    Place 1/2 cherries on top.
