Crusty Crab Points - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oz. crabmeat
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    1 (5 oz.) jar sharp Cheddar cheese spread
    1/2 tsp. mayonnaise
    1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 pkg. English muffins, sliced in half
Preparation
    When using canned crabmeat, drain.
    Combine all ingredients, except muffins, with electric mixer.
    Spread on English muffin halves.
    Freeze for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Cut each muffin half into 6 wedges.
    Re-freeze in plastic bags until ready to serve.
    Broil until golden brown and bubbly, about 5 minutes.
    Serve immediately.
    Filling is also good on party rye or leave muffin halves uncut and serve as open-face sandwich.
