Hot Bacon Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. diced bacon
    3 c. water
    1/4 c. flour
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Brown bacon; remove from pan. Add onion to grease and cook until tender. Add flour slowly until bubbly. Add vinegar and water slowly. Add all together. Stir until thick. Add sugar and bacon; cook 5 more minutes. Makes 1 quart.
