Speedy Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 to 1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut 1/4 inch thick or use stew meat
3/4 Tbsp. oil
2 Tbsp. flour
1 medium onion, sliced
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 can mushrooms
Preparation

Cut meat in serving size portions. Moisten meat lightly with water. Sprinkle meat tenderizer on each side of meat.
Allow to stand 10 minutes. Heat oil in large skillet.
Sprinkle meat with flour. Add meat to hot oil and brown 2 to 3 minutes. Turn meat and add onions; cook 2 to 3 minutes or until tender and browned. Add all ingredients; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
