Strawberry Pretzel Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. coarsely crushed pretzels
    3/4 c. margarine, melted
    1 c. plus 3 Tbsp. granulated sugar, divided
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 (8 oz.) container frozen nondairy whipped topping, thawed
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry flavored gelatin
    1 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries, thawed
Preparation
    Combine crushed pretzels, margarine and 3 tablespoons sugar; mix well.
    Press into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Bake in preheated oven at 400\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
    Remove from oven; let cool completely.
    In a large mixing bowl with an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese and remaining 1 cup sugar until well blended. Fold in whipped topping.
    Spread over cooled pretzel crust. Refrigerate until chilled.
    In a mixing bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
    Add marshmallows; stir until melted.
    Add strawberries with their juice.
    Let stand 10 minutes.
    Pour over cream cheese layer.
    Refrigerate until firm.
    Cut into squares to serve.
    Serves 12.
