Custard Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 c. rice, cooked
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. milk, scalded
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0 (moderate).
    Beat eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla slightly to mix.
    Stir in the scalded milk.
    Add this to the rice.
    Stir well.
    Pour in an 8 x 11-inch baking dish.
    Set this in a pan of water 1-inch deep.
    Bake 1 hour.
    Serve warm with cream.
    Very good to take for a potluck lunch.
