Sweet Pickle Spears - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (46 oz.; No. 2) bottle Vlasic kosher dill
    1 c. white vinegar
    3 c. white sugar
    2 Tbsp. mixed pickling spices
    boiling water
Preparation
    Drain pickle jar and pour boiling water to cover pickles that you have cut into spears.
    Chill and leave overnight.
    Bring to a boil the vinegar, sugar and pickling spices.
    Boil for 5 minutes. Drain pickles and pour vinegar mix over pickles to cover.
    Let set for 14 days.
