Caramels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sweet chocolate
    1 lb. dark brown sugar
    3/4 lb. soft butter
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook, stirring constantly for 45 minutes or until a hard ball forms in cold water.
    Pour into buttered pan.
    Cool and cut.
