Monkey Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 cans refrigerator biscuits (10 count)
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Set oven at 350\u00b0.
    Grease tube or Bundt pan well with margarine or butter.
    Cut biscuits into quarters and shake in 1/2 cup sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon to coat.
    Place layers in pan, sprinkling nuts throughout.
    Combine last 3 ingredients in saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
    Stir until mixture starts to thicken and pour over biscuits.
    Bake for 30 minutes. When cool, turn over onto serving dish.
    For decoration, place nuts and cherries on top.
