Pear Honey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. ground pears
    1/2 gal. sugar
    2 large cans crushed pineapple
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice (optional)
Preparation
    Peel pears, quarter and grind in chopper.
    Drain juice.
    Put a gallon of ground pears to 1/2 gallon of sugar.
    Add crushed pineapple.
    Cook for 1hour or until juice is thick.
    Add lemon juice (optional).
    Seal while hot.
