Strawberry Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 thick pork chops, cut with \"pockets\"
    3 c. fresh, whole strawberries
    1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
    1 Tbsp. hot water
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 Tbsp. diced celery
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 Tbsp. minced green pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. sage
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
    4 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/4 c. soy sauce
Preparation
    In a bowl, combine 1 cup of whole berries, bread crumbs, water, melted butter, celery, onion, green pepper and seasonings. Stuff pork chop pockets with mixture and close with toothpicks. In a large skillet, heat the tablespoon of cooking oil and brown chops on both sides.
    Remove chops from skillet and place in baking dish.
    In a small saucepan,
    mash the remaining strawberries and combine with brown sugar and soy sauce; baste chops.
    Reserve the rest for basting chops.
    Cover baking dish with foil and bake in a preheated 375\u00b0 oven for 90 minutes. Remove chops at 30-minute intervals to taste.
