Spinach Cottage Cheese Salad(A Green And White Treat For A Crowd) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh spinach
    1 large head lettuce
    4 to 5 slices bacon
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 c. salad oil
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 1/2 c. cottage cheese
Preparation
    Clean spinach and tear out stems.
    Mix with lettuce torn in bite-size pieces.
    Fry bacon until crisp, crumble and add to greens.
    Mix sugar, onion, oil, vinegar, salt and mustard.
    Beat well.
    Add half of dressing to greens and the rest to the cottage cheese.
    Chill.
    Add cheese mixture just before serving.
    Serves 12.
