Fig Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. oil
    2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. crushed figs (canned or fresh)
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat sugar and eggs together.
    Add oil and beat again.
    In another bowl, mix dry ingredients well.
    Put 1/2 dry mixture into egg, oil and sugar mixture.
    Next, add 1 cup figs and mix well. Add last of dry mixture.
    Add pecans and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
    Bake in tube or Bundt pan at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
