Lemon-Glazed Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. medium carrots (9 to 12)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. brown or white sugar
    4 thin lemon slices or 2 Tbsp. juice
Preparation
    Peel carrots and cut in half lengthwise.
    Cover with salt and enough boiling water.
    Simmer, covered, 15 minutes or until tender.
    Drain well.
    Melt butter in large skillet.
    Stir in sugar and lemon.
    Add carrots; stir until well glazed over medium heat. Makes 6 servings.
