Coconut Pecan Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. evaporated milk
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 1/3 c. flaked coconut
Preparation

Combine evaporated milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter and vanilla in small saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until thick, about 12 minutes. Stir in coconut and pecans.
Beat until thick enough to spread.
This is an excellent frosting for a chocolate cake or chocolate cupcakes.
