Banana Tea Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. shortening
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. mashed bananas (2 to 3)
Preparation
    Sift together baking powder, baking soda, salt and flour.
    Add sugar, gradually and continue beating until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Add flour mixture alternately with mashed bananas, a small amount at a time.
    Beat well after each addition until smooth.
    Pour into a well-greased pan 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour 10 minutes.
