Toffee Treats - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips, melted
    1/2 c. nutmeats, chopped
    1 qt. vanilla ice cream
    1 (10 oz.) jar Kraft caramel sauce
Preparation
    Cream
    margarine
    and sugar well.
    Add egg and vanilla. Add flour;
    mix
    well.\tSpread\ton
    a greased jelly roll pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.\tRemove from oven.
    Spread at
    once with melted chocolate chips; sprinkle on nuts.
    Cool. Cut into
    18 portions.\tTop
    with a scoop of ice cream; spoon sauce over that. Serves 18.
