Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. Crisco oil
    2 eggs
    2 oz. red food coloring
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and oil; add vinegar and food coloring.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Add vanilla and then add to mixture.
    Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture, alternating with buttermilk.
    Beat well.
    Bake cake in two or three greased and floured, round pans at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until done.
